Nicole Nelson

Interior Designer

Born and raised in the Seattle area, Nicole Nelson is an aspiring Interior Designer with a deep-rooted love for creativity and connection. Nicole works alongside lead interior designer Sarah Smith and in-house architectural designer Matt Mamiya to support the design team with conceptual designs, finish selections, 3D modeling, and interior renderings. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in International Business, Nicole loved working with clients to design a custom Lacanche Range for their dream kitchen. During this time, she further developed her appreciation for all aspects of interior design, and ultimately returned to design school to pursue her passions. Nicole draws her greatest inspirations from her client’s unique lifestyles, nature, and travels abroad. Staying connected to the design community at large is extremely important to her – Nicole is an active member of both IIDA and RDI, and mentors current design students at Bellevue College.

Outside the design studio, Nicole loves the great outdoors, whether that be world traveling or exploring the breathtaking landscapes that Washington has to offer. Family plays a central role in Nicole's life, serving as a constant source of support and inspiration. Rooted in strong familial bonds, Nicole has developed a keen understanding of how a house can truly become a home.

"We recently worked with LL for the second time under a very critical timeline, and they did not disappoint. They completed the necessary work comfortably on schedule. This is a company that strives to please and strives for excellence. Whether building a new house or doing a remodel (we used them for both), I would highly recommend Lochwood-Lozier as your builder.”
