A New Chapter of Leadership: Eddie Putrya

January 1, 2025 / Lochwood’s Leadership Team

In early 2025, Eddie Putrya stepped into the role of President at Lochwood-Lozier Custom Homes: a milestone that represents not only professional achievement, but a lifetime built on perseverance, craftsmanship, mentorship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Born in Siberia, Russia, Eddie immigrated to the United States at six years old. From an early age, he was driven by the belief that through hard work, sacrifice, and determination, anything was possible. That mindset would go on to shape both his career and his leadership philosophy.

At fifteen years old, Eddie began apprenticing as a finish carpenter. What started as learning a trade quickly became a lifelong passion.

He immersed himself in the details of craftsmanship, mastering the precision, discipline, and artistry required to build exceptional homes.

Over the years, he earned a reputation not only for his skill, but for his work ethic, leadership, and deep respect for the people around him.

Eddie’s career progression reflects the kind of growth that cannot be rushed but is earned. When Eddie first stepped onto a Lochwood-Lozier Custom Homes job site in 2007,

he began a journey that would span nearly two decades of growth, learning, and leadership within the company.

From carpenter to job foreman, from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager, every step of his journey has been grounded in firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the building process from the ground up.

What makes Eddie’s story especially meaningful is the role Lochwood-Lozier Custom Homes played in that journey.

Lochwood-Lozier was more than a workplace — it became a place where Eddie was given opportunities to grow, lead, and evolve both professionally and personally. Throughout the years, the company invested in him, believed in his potential, and helped shape the leader he is today.

A major part of that growth came through the mentorship of Todd Lozier, whose leadership, guidance, and trust had a lasting impact on Eddie’s career. Todd recognized Eddie’s dedication early on and helped cultivate his leadership abilities over the years. Through mentorship, encouragement, and shared experience, Todd played an instrumental role in helping Eddie transition from craftsman to executive leadership.

Eddie is also quick to recognize the influence of the incredible team around him. The Project Managers and leaders at Lochwood-Lozier helped challenge, support, and develop him throughout every stage of his career. Their collaboration, knowledge, and willingness to invest in one another created an environment where growth was not only possible, but encouraged. That sense of teamwork and shared purpose became one of the foundations of Eddie’s leadership style.

For Eddie, building homes has never been only about construction. It is about building relationships, earning trust, and creating a team culture where people are proud of the work they do.

His love for the craft extends beyond materials and design — it lives in the people, the process, and the lasting impact each project creates for clients and families.

As President, Eddie now carries forward the legacy of Lochwood-Lozier while helping shape its future. His journey stands as a powerful reminder that great leadership is built the same way great homes are: through vision, persistence, humility, mentorship, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

This new chapter is more than a title — it is the continuation of a story defined by hard work, resilience, opportunity, and a lifelong pursuit of excellence. It reflects the power of mentorship, craftsmanship, and the unwavering support of a company and team that believed in Eddie every step of the way.
